- Location: Round Valley Regional Preserve
- Route: From the staging area, take the Miwok Trail. Follow the Miwok Trail to the Murphy Meadow Trail, and turn Right on to Murphy Meadow Trail. Keep Right to stay on the trail, and follow it across the bridge, where it reconnects with the Miwok Trail. Continue on the Miwok trail to the parking area.
- Mileage: 6.7 miles, 419 feet elevation gain
- Difficulty Level: Moderate
- Description: This is a nice, long loop hike on mostly flat terrain. In the winter rainy season, the ground can get very wet and slippery. There may be cows grazing. For many years this ranch was active, but now it's a park. Cows can clear out heavy grasses and open space for spring wildflowers. There are some stream crossings, and clusters of valley oaks and live oaks.
